Clipboard Copy Widget
Copy a field with one click — no more dragging the mouse across it.
A small button next to a text field puts its content on the clipboard. That removes the most common reason a copied value ends up wrong: a selection that started one character too late or stopped one character too early. The full stored value is copied, even when the field is shown truncated on screen.
The help for this module is findable — for people and for AI
One help page in German and English, shipped inside the module. With Help Docs installed you search them in full text — and an AI assistant reads the same content through a machine-readable module card.

Features
The complete value, not what fits on screen
What lands on the clipboard is the stored value. A long key or an IBAN that the form shows shortened is copied in full — the classic source of a value that looks right and is not.
Visible confirmation
A short notice after the click confirms the value was taken. You do not have to paste somewhere first to find out whether the click registered.
Works on any text field, on desktop and tablet
The button can be added to single-line and multi-line text fields anywhere in Odoo, without rebuilding the form around it. On a touch device, where precise selection is awkward, copying becomes a single tap.

Which fields can get the button?
Any single-line or multi-line text field, in a standard Odoo form as well as in your own. It is added to the field in the view definition, so no form has to be rebuilt.
Which Odoo editions are supported?
The module runs on Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, version 19.0 — self-hosted or on Odoo.sh. Odoo Online, the hosted SaaS edition, does not accept apps from the store, so no third-party module can run there.
Which other modules does it require?
It requires web. Odoo resolves and installs these dependencies itself when you install the module.
Under which license is the module published?
The module is published under the LGPL-3 open-source license.
Will it keep working after an Odoo update?
Yes, within 19.0.x. A move to the next major Odoo version is delivered as a new module version.
