Disable PDF Preview
The accounting form gets the whole screen back.
Odoo shows a permanent preview of the attached document beside invoice and payment forms. If you enter from a paper document, or work on a notebook, that pane costs half the width and has to be rendered every time a record opens. This module removes it. The attachment stays where it is and can still be opened.
The help for this module is findable — for people and for AI
One help page in German and English, shipped inside the module. With Help Docs installed you search them in full text — and an AI assistant reads the same content through a machine-readable module card.

Features
Full width for the form
Without the preview pane, positions, accounts and tax fields have the whole window. On a 13-inch screen that is the difference between scrolling sideways and seeing the booking at a glance.
Records open without rendering the document
The attached file no longer has to be prepared for display on every open. In bulk entry — and over a narrow connection to an external accountant — that is felt on every record.
Attachments stay reachable
Only the permanently displayed pane goes away. The files themselves are untouched and can be opened and downloaded from the attachment area as usual — nothing is deleted, nothing is hidden.
Nothing to configure
The module takes effect on installation. There is no setting to find and no group to assign.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch the preview back on for individual users?
No — the module removes the pane for everyone. If only some workstations should lose it, tell us at support@equitania.de and we will discuss the options.
Are attachments deleted?
No. The module changes only the display. Every file stays attached to its record.
Which Odoo editions are supported?
The module runs on Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, version 19.0 — self-hosted or on Odoo.sh. Odoo Online, the hosted SaaS edition, does not accept apps from the store, so no third-party module can run there.
Which other modules does it require?
It requires account. Odoo resolves and installs these dependencies itself when you install the module.
Under which license is the module published?
The module is published under the LGPL-3 open-source license.
Will it keep working after an Odoo update?
Yes, within 19.0.x. A move to the next major Odoo version is delivered as a new module version.
