Microsoft 365 Equitania extends the contact sync of Microsoft 365 Outlook with the person fields of the Equitania contact module: first name and surname arrive in Outlook as separate fields, so contacts are addressed and sorted correctly, and the birthday kept in Odoo lands in the Outlook contact where Outlook can remind you of it.
Nothing changes in day-to-day use — the additional fields simply flow into the existing sync. For company contacts without a person the name split is skipped automatically.
