Product Variants

Odoo insists that a product code appears only once in the whole catalogue. That rule blocks numbering schemes grown over decades — a shirt in five sizes under one base number, two suppliers who happen to use the same reference, an assembly that exists in several versions under one drawing number. This module lifts the constraint on templates and on variants, so a legacy catalogue can be imported without inventing artificial codes first. Everything else — search, reporting, printing — behaves exactly as before.
