Partner Numbers

Every customer and every supplier gets their own running number — drawn automatically from a configurable sequence and carried on quotations, orders, purchase orders and invoices. Companies moving from an older system keep their established numbering instead of retraining everyone, and a customer who quotes their number on the phone is found immediately. Subsidiaries can be tied to the parent company's number, and whether an assigned number may still be edited is a setting.
