Delivery notes you are happy to hand over with the goods.
The delivery note is the document the customer sees first — often before the invoice, and usually in the hands of someone at a goods-in desk. Stock Extensions gives it a formatted header and footer for delivery instructions, a properly laid-out packing list, and a way to restrict location selection so warehouse staff only see the places they actually work in.

One help page in German and English, shipped inside the module. With Help Docs installed you search them in full text — and an AI assistant reads the same content through a machine-readable module card.

Features
Header and footer text on the delivery note
Formatted text blocks, storable as a default and adjustable per delivery. This is where the delivery window, the required advance notice or the return address go — the notes that would otherwise be written on the paper by hand.
Restricted location selection
A parent location can be set on the movement; the choice of source and destination then covers only its sub-locations. Wrong locations are not merely discouraged — they are not offered.
A packing list that reads like one
Packages, quantities and weights are laid out separately instead of being crammed into the same column. The person packing and the person receiving read the same structure.
Room for a real description
The position description takes multi-line text, so a packing instruction survives in full instead of being cut off after a few characters.
Current incoterms and managed shipping methods
The delivery terms match the customs standard, and shipping methods can be maintained in a structured way and assigned to documents — the details a forwarder checks before accepting a consignment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the location restriction affect existing warehouses?
No. The parent location is set per movement and is optional. Leave it empty and selection behaves exactly as before.
Which Odoo editions are supported?
The module runs on Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, version 19.0 — self-hosted or on Odoo.sh. Odoo Online, the hosted SaaS edition, does not accept apps from the store, so no third-party module can run there.
Which other modules does it require?
It requires base, base_setup, delivery, stock. Odoo resolves and installs these dependencies itself when you install the module.
Under which license is the module published?
The module is published under the LGPL-3 open-source license.
Will it keep working after an Odoo update?
Yes, within 19.0.x. A move to the next major Odoo version is delivered as a new module version.
