Managing directors on the letterhead
Up to three names plus a role designation are stored on the company and made available to the document templates. German commercial law requires this information in the imprint of business letters — here it is maintained in one place instead of being typed into every template.

Stored signature for documents
A scanned signature is stored on the company and can be printed on quotations and invoices. A quotation leaves the house signed without anyone printing it out to sign it.
Checked email addresses on user accounts
When a user is created or changed, the form of the email address is checked. A typo shows up immediately instead of surfacing later as a failed delivery nobody notices.
A tidy settings menu and a polished German interface
The settings of the ownERP modules sit together in their own submenu, so configuration is where you expect it. In addition, the German wording of the standard interface has been revised.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to install Base separately?
No. Every ownERP module that needs it lists Base as a dependency, so Odoo installs it along the way. You can of course also install it on its own.
Where do the managing director names appear?
They are stored on the company record and made available to the document templates. Whether and where they are printed is decided by the template you use — the standard Equitania layouts place them in the footer.
Which Odoo editions are supported?
The module runs on Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, version 19.0 — self-hosted or on Odoo.sh. Odoo Online, the hosted SaaS edition, does not accept apps from the store, so no third-party module can run there.
Which other modules does it require?
It requires base_setup, base. Odoo resolves and installs these dependencies itself when you install the module.
Under which license is the module published?
The module is published under the LGPL-3 open-source license.
Will it keep working after an Odoo update?
Yes, within 19.0.x. A move to the next major Odoo version is delivered as a new module version.
