KPI Cockpit - Quality
Checks, pass rate and quality alerts at a glance.
A ready-made quality board for the KPI Cockpit. It shows the checks still to do, the passed and failed checks and the pass rate over time, which products and test types fail, and the quality alerts that are still open. A click on a figure opens the records behind it. The board needs Odoo Enterprise with the Quality app and installs itself only where Quality is installed.
The help for this module is findable — for people and for AI
A help page ships with the module, in German and English. Full-text search finds it from inside Odoo.

eq.helper.doc.get_capability_card(
"eq_kpi_cockpit_quality") The module card lists the shipped boards, their source models and how each figure is defined, so an assistant knows what a figure means before it answers.
Which products fail most often?

Full-text search and the module card are provided by the module Help Docs (eq_helper). This module ships the content — no extra configuration.
Features
Checks and pass rate
The board counts the checks still to do, the passed and the failed checks of the period and the pass rate: the share of passed checks among those that were passed or failed. The period follows the control date of the check.
- Passed checks, failed checks, pass rate and new alerts as figures, compared with the previous period
- Failed checks per week and checks by result as charts
- Failed checks by product (the ten largest) and checks by test type
Quality alerts
Open alerts are the alerts that are not in a stage marked as processed. New alerts counts the alerts created in the period. Charts show the open alerts per stage and the alerts of the period per root cause.
- A worklist of open alerts, highest priority first
- A worklist of the latest failed checks, most recent first, with a status badge
- Checks to do, open alerts and alerts by stage show the state right now and ignore the period
Quality teams compared
The ranking lists the quality teams with the checks decided, the failed checks, the failure rate and the checks still to do. The failure rate is the failed checks as a share of the decided checks.
- Ten teams at most
- A click on a figure opens the checks or alerts behind it
- All figures follow each user's own access rights
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Odoo editions are supported?
Odoo Enterprise only, version 19.0 — self-hosted or on Odoo.sh. The module needs the Enterprise app Quality (quality_control). On Odoo Community it cannot be installed and changes nothing; the KPI Cockpit and all its other bridges keep running on Community. Odoo Online, the hosted SaaS edition, does not accept apps from the store, so no third-party module can run there.
Which boards are included?
One board with 15 widgets: Quality. In a German interface it is called „Qualität“.
What are the dependencies?
Requires the KPI Cockpit core (eq_kpi_cockpit) and the Enterprise app Quality (quality_control). This module installs itself as soon as both are present. It needs no Python package.
Who sees the board?
Users of the KPI Cockpit who belong to the group "Quality / User" (quality.group_quality_user) or a group above it. The figures follow each user's own access rights and record rules.
What is the pass rate?
The passed checks as a share of the checks that were passed or failed in the period. The period follows the control date of the check; checks still to do are not counted.
What is an open alert?
A quality alert that is not in a stage marked as processed. The figure shows the state right now and ignores the period.
Can I change the board?
Yes, with the group „KPI Cockpit / Administrator“ under KPI Cockpit → Configuration. The board is loaded once, so your changes are kept when the module is updated.
What is the technical name?
eq_kpi_cockpit_quality.
Will it work after an Odoo update within the same major version?
Yes, within 19.0.x. Major version upgrades are delivered as a new module version.
