Transfers, stock levels and replenishment at a glance.

KPI Cockpit - Inventory

Four ready-made inventory boards for the KPI Cockpit: inventory overview, stock levels and replenishment, traceability and scrap, and warehouse operations. They show which transfers are late, what is due today, how much stock is free, which replenishment rules need an order and who carries how much work. A click on a figure opens the records behind it. The module installs itself next to the cockpit and Inventory.

Features

Late, ready and due today

Late, ready and due today

The overview and operations boards count late and ready transfers, the receipts and deliveries due today and the transfers done today against yesterday. Drafts, done and cancelled transfers never count as late.

  • Done per day, due in the next 7 days, done, late and open by operation type
  • Urgent transfers (late or starred, oldest first) and open backorders as worklists
  • Operator load: open, ready, late and done per responsible user

Free stock and the age of your stock

Free stock is on hand minus reserved. Charts show stock by location and by product category, the shortage by location and the age of the stock in five steps, from up to 30 days to over a year.

  • Negative stock lines and products in stock as figures
  • Completed moves per day over 30 days and the recent stock moves as a worklist
  • A click on a bar opens exactly the records of that group

Replenishment without surprises

The replenishment board shows the rules below their minimum, the quantity to order, manual and snoozed rules and the coverage. It also lists the storable products that no rule watches.

  • Average vendor lead time from the vendor price lists
  • Automatic against manual rules, quantity to order by product, below minimum by warehouse
  • Quantity and deadline are the state stored on the rule; they refresh when Odoo recomputes the rules

Scrap, returns and lots

The traceability board counts scrap orders and scrapped units, the scrap rate, completed returns and the lots and serials in stock. It also finds tracked stock that has no lot or serial number.

  • Scrapped units, returns and new lots per month, scrap by product
  • Worklists for recent scrap, tracked stock without a lot and recent returns
  • The scrap rate excludes inventory adjustments

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Odoo editions are supported?

The module runs on Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, version 19.0 — self-hosted or on Odoo.sh. Odoo Online, the hosted SaaS edition, does not accept apps from the store, so no third-party module can run there.

Which boards are included?

Four, together 53 widgets: Inventory Overview, Stock Levels & Replenishment, Traceability & Scrap and Warehouse Operations. In a German interface the boards are called "Lager im Überblick", "Bestand und Nachschub", "Rückverfolgbarkeit und Ausschuss" and "Lagerbetrieb". The boards show quantities and counts, not values.

What are the dependencies?

Requires the Odoo modules stock (Inventory). Odoo installs them automatically; this module installs itself as soon as all are present. It needs no Python package.

Who sees the boards?

Users of the KPI Cockpit who belong to the inventory group "User" or a group above it. The figures follow each user's own access rights and record rules.

When is a transfer late?

When it is confirmed, waiting or ready and its scheduled date has passed. Drafts, done and cancelled transfers never count.

Do the boards show values?

No, only quantities and counts. Value and cost figures belong to the module KPI Cockpit - Stock Valuation. Quality checks and expiry dates are not included either.

Can I change the boards?

Yes, with the group "KPI Cockpit / Administrator" under KPI Cockpit → Configuration. The boards are loaded once, so your changes are kept when the module is updated.

What is the technical name?

eq_kpi_cockpit_stock.

Will it work after an Odoo update within the same major version?

Yes, within 19.0.x. Major version upgrades are delivered as a new module version.
