Stock value and landed costs at a glance.

KPI Cockpit - Stock Valuation

One ready-made board for the KPI Cockpit: Valuation & landed costs. It shows what your stock is worth, how much of that value sits in the ten most valuable products, which landed costs were posted this month or are still open and which done moves carry no value. A click on a figure opens the records behind it. The module installs itself next to the cockpit, inventory valuation and landed costs.

Features

What your stock is worth

What your stock is worth

The board shows the inventory value and the share held by the ten most valuable products, so you see how concentrated your capital is. Charts split the value by product category and by warehouse.

  • Most valuable products with value, quantity and average cost
  • A click on a bar or a row opens exactly the stock lines behind it
  • Amounts in company currency

Landed costs under control

The board shows the landed costs posted this month against last month and the ones still open. A trend over the last 12 months and the mix of split methods show where the costs come from.

  • Open landed costs as a table to work through
  • Landed cost trend over 12 months

Moves that distort the value

The board counts done moves without a value and the value received, each against the previous period, and lists the moves without a value so someone can clear them up.

  • Visible only to the group Inventory: Administrator
  • Snapshot figures show the current stock; there is no value at a past date

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Odoo editions are supported?

The module runs on Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, version 19.0 — self-hosted or on Odoo.sh. Odoo Online, the hosted SaaS edition, does not accept apps from the store, so no third-party module can run there.

Which board is included?

One: Valuation & landed costs, with 13 widgets. In a German interface it is called "Bewertung & Einstandskosten".

What are the dependencies?

Requires the Odoo modules stock_account (Inventory valuation) and stock_landed_costs (Landed Costs). Odoo installs them automatically; this module installs itself as soon as all are present. It needs no Python package.

Who sees the boards?

Users of the KPI Cockpit who belong to the group "Inventory: Administrator". Accountants and warehouse users without that right do not see the board. The figures follow each user's own access rights and record rules.

Can I see the stock value at a past date?

No. Inventory value, value concentration, value by category and by warehouse and the most valuable products show the current stock, whatever period is selected. The stock value at a past date is not computed, so there is no value trend.

What is not included?

The drift of the average cost against the standard price per product. Both values are computed per product and cannot be filtered or aggregated in a board.

Can I change the boards?

Yes, with the group "KPI Cockpit / Administrator" under KPI Cockpit → Configuration. The boards are loaded once, so your changes are kept when the module is updated.

What is the technical name?

eq_kpi_cockpit_stock_account.

Will it work after an Odoo update within the same major version?

Yes, within 19.0.x. Major version upgrades are delivered as a new module version.

Do you provide support?
