KPI Cockpit - Purchase
Spend, approvals and vendors at a glance.
Five ready-made purchasing boards for the KPI Cockpit: purchase overview, RFQ and approval pipeline, spend and cost control, product and category insights and vendor performance. They show what you spend compared with the previous period, which approvals and RFQs stall, how much discount you capture and how your vendors compare. A click on a figure opens the records behind it. The module installs itself next to the cockpit and Purchase.

AI asks
eq.helper.doc.get_capability_card(
"eq_kpi_cockpit_purchase") The module card lists the shipped boards, their source models and how each figure is defined, so an assistant knows what a figure means before it answers.
Which orders has the vendor not acknowledged?

Full-text search and the module card are provided by the module Help Docs (eq_helper). This module ships the content — no extra configuration.
Features

Spend against the previous period
The overview shows total spend, active vendors and the average days from RFQ to confirmed order, each against the previous period and coloured good or bad. Spend is the untaxed value of confirmed orders in company currency.
- Spend per month, by buyer and by product category
- Open RFQs, approval backlog and pending bills
- Top vendors with orders, spend and average order, and the latest purchase orders
Approvals and RFQs that stall
The pipeline board counts the RFQs created and still open, the share that becomes an order and the orders waiting for approval. It adds the value of RFQs open for more than 14 days and the confirmed orders the vendor has not acknowledged.
- RFQs created per month, open RFQs by vendor, order status
- Approval backlog and not acknowledged orders as worklists
- RFQ to order rate
Cost control
The cost board shows the discount captured and the average discount rate, the bills still to come and the orders billed for more than was received. Spend and savings are broken down by month, category, buyer and vendor.
- Discount captured and average discount rate
- Quantity variance exceptions: orders billed for more than received, for products billed on received quantities
- Top discounted order lines as a worklist

Products and vendors compared
The product board ranks products by spend and quantity and shows the average unit price. The vendor board gives a scorecard with orders, spend, average order and days to confirm, and compares planned lead times.
- Top products by spend and by quantity, average unit price by category
- Vendor scorecard and spend by vendor
- Planned lead time: planned receipt date minus order date — a plan, not a measurement of actual deliveries
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Odoo editions are supported?
The module runs on Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, version 19.0 — self-hosted or on Odoo.sh. Odoo Online, the hosted SaaS edition, does not accept apps from the store, so no third-party module can run there.
Which boards are included?
Five: Purchase Overview, RFQ and Approval Pipeline, Spend and Cost Control, Product and Category Insights and Vendor Performance, together 50 widgets. In a German interface the boards are called "Einkauf im Überblick", "Anfragen und Freigaben", "Ausgaben und Kostenkontrolle", "Produkt- und Kategorieanalyse" and "Lieferantenleistung".
What are the dependencies?
Requires the Odoo modules eq_kpi_cockpit (KPI Cockpit, Equitania) and purchase (Purchase). Odoo installs them automatically; this module installs itself as soon as both are present. It needs no Python package.
Who sees the boards?
Users of the KPI Cockpit who belong to the group "Purchase / User" or a group above it. The figures follow each user's own access rights and record rules.
Are delivery and receipt figures included?
Not in this module itself. Figures that need receipts — on-time delivery rate, actual days to receive, late and open receipts — come with the module KPI Cockpit - Purchase Receipts (eq_kpi_cockpit_purchase_stock), which installs itself when Inventory (purchase_stock) is installed and adds them to the Purchase Overview and Vendor Performance boards. The vendor board shows the planned lead time instead: planned receipt date minus order date.
In which currency are the amounts shown?
Spend comes from the purchase report, untaxed and in company currency. Values read directly from orders, such as the value of RFQs open for more than 14 days and the order lists, are in the currency of the order.
What does "not acknowledged" mean?
Confirmed orders the vendor has not acknowledged, based on the vendor acknowledgement flag of the order. If you do not use that flag, every confirmed order shows as not acknowledged.
Can I change the boards?
Yes, with the group "KPI Cockpit / Administrator" under KPI Cockpit → Configuration. The boards are loaded once, so your changes are kept when the module is updated.
What is the technical name?
eq_kpi_cockpit_purchase.
Will it work after an Odoo update within the same major version?
Yes, within 19.0.x. Major version upgrades are delivered as a new module version.
